Classic Car Lab Is Going Prime Time!
Classic Car Lab, Otley, has been selected to feature in a brand-new spin-off series of Bangers & Cash, created by production company, Air TV!
The series titled, Restoring Classic Cars, will follow the team as they bring classic vehicles back to life—starting with a secret car recently purchased by the show from Mathewsons Auctions.
ClassicCar Lab is joining a long list of iconic TV shows and films shot in the area, including: Happy Valley, DCI Banks, Emmerdale, Band of Gold, The Syndicate, God’s Own Country, Manhunt, The Chase, Fat Friends, Emily, Heartbeat, and The Yorkshire Vet.
Filming has already begun on the first restoration project and there is a bigger build that will span the entire series.
While the show will spotlight the transformation of classic and retro vehicles, it will also showcase the ongoing restoration and repair of modern vehicles.
The show will go beyond the mechanical work, diving into the lives of the people behind the tools. Expect to see the camaraderie, challenges, emotional moments, and plenty of laughs that make Classic Car Lab so special.

Following the first two episodes dedicated to history and design, the latest episode of the ‘Alpine 70 Years’ series focuses on the theme of innovation and engineering.
Through the testimonies of four experts, this third instalment takes us behind the scenes at the brand’s various engineering sites.
Experts provide insights into the synergy that exists at Alpine between motorsport and road cars. Already present when the brand was founded by Jean Rédélé, this symbiosis is now taking on a new dimension with the development of the Alpine Hypertech entity, which puts racing know-how directly at the service of innovation within Renault Group.
